About Us

Indah Utara Enterprise Sdn Bhd is the authorised Chery and Jaecoo dealer in northern Malaysia, part of Indah Utara Group (Chery, Jaecoo & Isuzu). We are hiring a Workshop Supervisor to lead the service workshop at our Chery Sungai Petani 3S centre.

The Role

You will run the workshop floor: lead the technician team, solve difficult faults, and make sure every car leaves fixed right the first time.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, allocate and supervise daily jobs for the technician team

- Diagnose and resolve complex customer complaints, warranty and repeat-repair cases

- Carry out final quality checks and road tests before vehicle delivery

- Make sure jobs are completed within standard repair time

- Coach and upskill technicians on diagnosis and Chery service standards

- Work closely with Service Advisors on job status and customer updates

- Maintain workshop safety, tools, equipment and 5S housekeeping

- Support warranty claim documentation and parts follow-up

Requirements

- Minimum 3 years as Senior Technician, Foreman or Workshop Supervisor at a franchise dealer (any brand)

- Strong diagnostic skills: scan tools, wiring diagrams, electrical faults

- Experience with turbo GDI, DCT, hybrid (PHEV) or EV vehicles is a strong advantage

- Able to lead and guide a team of technicians

- SPM / Certificate / Diploma in Automotive Technology or equivalent

- Valid driving licence (D)

- Based in or willing to work in Sungai Petani
