Job Description
Responsibilities
The Services required are set out as follows:
1.To maintain and upkeep the cleanliness of classrooms, special rooms, staff rooms,school common areas and General Office.
2.Supporting school to provide logistic support for all school events special events, daily activities and meetings which includes setting up and clearing up of venue, moving and arrangement of furniture, equipment and stored items.
3.Responsible for the security of classrooms, offices and common areas in the school by locking and unlocking doors, windows and shutters.
4.Assist the Operations Manager in basic facilities management and maintenance. Conduct regular checks on facilities, escorting of vendors/contractors, Pest Controllers and reporting faults to the Operation Manager.
5.Daily Checking of areas under their charge to ensure areas are well maintained.
6.Arm and disarm the school’s security system
7.Carry out after-school closing duties, including locking all gates and roller shutters at stair entrances, school buildings, and ensuring all lights, fans, and air-conditioning units in classrooms are switched off and classroom doors are locked
8.Familarise with school’s fire alarm system and be able to reset it when required. In-house training will be provided.
9.Familarise with school’s electrical systems and be able to restore electricity supply by resetting the appropriate circuit breaker in event of a power failure. In-house training will be provided.
10.Support science laboratory with general cleaning of labs and cleaning of apparatus, equipment and simple preparation of materials as and when required.
11.Any other duties assigned by School Leaders,Operational Managers and Admin Managers.
Please note that the school is 4-storey high, with no lift facility.
Insurance Requirement
The Awarded Contractor shall be required to purchase appropriate insurance coverage for the Personnel deployed at the School.
Qualification, Skill & Experience of the Contractor’s Personnel
The Personnel should preferably have the following
qualifications, skills and experience:
1. Preferably a PSLE certification
2. Has preferably 1 year of experience in operational work in schools
3. Able to understand and converse in English
