We are expanding our project team to deliver a large-scale hyperscale data centre development in Malaysia for a leading global technology client.

About the Role

We are looking for QAQC Supervisors in the Mechanical and Electrical disciplines to lead day-to-day quality assurance and quality control on site. You will work closely with contractors to make sure all M&E works are delivered right the first time and in line with the client’s specifications and standards.

• QAQC Supervisor – Mechanical: ACMV, chilled water and cooling systems, plumbing, and fire protection
• QAQC Supervisor – Electrical: LV/MV power distribution, UPS, generators, cabling, and earthing and lightning protection

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the project Quality Management Plan and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for M&E works
• Carry out site inspections, material inspections and witness tests
• Review contractors’ method statements, material submittals and quality documentation
• Raise, track and close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and snag lists
• Coordinate quality inspections with the client, consultants and contractors
• Support testing and commissioning activities, and compile quality records for handover
• Prepare QAQC reports and track quality KPIs

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of QAQC experience in M&E works on large-scale construction projects
• Experience in data centre or mission-critical facilities is an advantage
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and ITP-based inspections
• Familiarity with CIDB QLASSIC or an equivalent quality assessment is an advantage
• Detail-oriented, with strong reporting and communication skills
