Maltem Asia is currently seeking an IT Lab & Learning Centre Support Technician for our client in the Education domain.

Role: IT Lab & Learning Centre Support Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain computer laboratories and learning centre facilities.
• Ensure computers and printers are powered on, operational and ready for use.
• Perform routine checks on laboratory PCs and report hardware or software faults.
• Assist students with basic computer usage, login and application access issues.
• Install approved software and patches when required.
• Perform routine PC housekeeping, including clearing temporary files and checking device health.
• Report missing, damaged or faulty equipment to the relevant IT teams.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organisation and readiness of IT equipment and workstations.
• Assist with room bookings and coordinate preparation for scheduled activities.
• Provide additional support during online examinations, student registration and other peak periods.

Requirements

• Relevant IT qualification or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience in desktop support, computer laboratory support or technical operations.
• Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, printers and common applications.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to interact professionally with students and staff.
• Experience supporting educational facilities is an advantage.
