Job Description

SJEE Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Quantity Surveyor to join our Electrical / Data Centre Project team.

The successful candidate will assist in site measurement, quantity take-off, cost estimation, project cost control, variation orders, and progress claims to ensure effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out site measurements and prepare quantity take-offs.
• Prepare and update Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates, and cost reports.
• Prepare and process Variation Orders (VO) and progress claims.
• Monitor project costs, expenditures, and budget allocation.
• Coordinate with site teams, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Assist with tender documentation and contract administration.
• Prepare project reports and maintain proper documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant working experience in Quantity Surveying.
• Experience in construction, electrical, or data centre projects is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of quantity take-off, BQ preparation, VO, progress claims, and cost control.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and relevant QS software
• Good communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and travel to project sites when required.
• Valid CIDB Green Card is mandatory.

Work Arrangement

• November 2026: Initial placement at HQ, Kota Damansara.
• December 2026 onwards: Based at the site office in Lukut, Port Dickson.
