Senior Engineer / Construction Manager (Ground Improvement / PVD)
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Engineer / Construction Manager
to oversee
Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD)
and ground improvement projects. You will manage site operations, coordinate project teams and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise
PVD installation
and ground improvement works.
Manage multiple small-scale PVD projects at the same time.
Oversee daily site operations, including manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors.
Monitor project progress, productivity, and work quality, and resolve site or technical issues.
Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, headquarters, and other stakeholders.
Lead and supervise site engineers, supervisors, and workers to ensure smooth project execution.
Review construction drawings, work procedures, site records, and project documents.
Ensure all works comply with project specifications, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
Requirements
Degree or Master's Degree in
Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering
, or a related field.
At least
2–3 years of relevant experience
in
PVD installation
and ground improvement projects.
Hands-on experience in site supervision, project coordination, and PVD construction.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and manage site teams, subcontractors, and project resources.
Proficient in
Microsoft Office
and project management software.
Experience in other ground improvement works such as
Deep Cement Mixing (DCM), Diaphragm Wall, or Piling
will be an added advantage.
Working hours: 8am-6pm (Mon - Sat)
