Job Summary
We are seeking a capable tendering professional to manage tender preparation, cost evaluation, and submission activities for civil engineering and infrastructure projects in Singapore. The role requires effective coordination across departments, sound commercial judgement, and careful management of tender requirements and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage tender preparation and submission activities for civil engineering and infrastructure projects.
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and contract conditions to determine project scope and submission requirements.
Collaborate with Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Procurement, and other relevant teams to obtain technical and commercial information.
Prepare and review cost estimates, project budgets, pricing schedules, and tender quotations.
Verify Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost breakdowns, and subcontractor quotations for accuracy and competitiveness.
Identify commercial risks, contractual obligations, and potential cost implications during tender preparation.
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain clarifications and relevant pricing information.
Track tender progress, coordinate internal reviews, and ensure submissions comply with stipulated requirements and deadlines.
Evaluate tender costs and commercial feasibility and submit recommendations to management.
Maintain accurate tender documentation, cost records, and pricing databases.
Support post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and the handover of awarded projects to the relevant project team.
