About Us

We are a financial technology company that builds trading and capital market solutions for brokers and financial institutions. We’re looking for a database developer to help build and optimise the systems behind high-volume, real-time financial workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop and maintain stored procedures, functions, views and database schemas in MSSQL and/or PostgreSQL
• Write efficient, well-tested SQL for transactional and reporting workloads
• Analyse execution plans and tune queries and indexes for performance and low latency
• Make sure data stays accurate and consistent, using sound transaction handling, constraints and idempotent processing
• Work with application, QA and support teams on releases and production support
• Manage database changes through version control and keep documentation up to date

Job Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on development experience with MSSQL (T-SQL) or PostgreSQL (PL/pgSQL)
• Strong skills in complex queries, stored procedures, CTEs, window functions and indexing
• Good understanding of transactions, isolation levels, locking and deadlock troubleshooting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication in English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
