Job Summary
You will operate CNC milling machines and other equipment to produce high-quality metal components, perform inspections and maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous improvement programs.
Responsibilities
Perform daily in-process inspections to ensure product quality during manufacturing
Operate CNC milling machines and related equipment following production orders and safety procedures
Use measuring equipment to conduct precise in-process measurements and monitor product output quality
Perform daily maintenance on machines to ensure operational efficiency and prevent breakdowns
Assemble and kit component parts according to production and safety requirements
Handle materials safely and efficiently throughout the production process
Troubleshoot machine breakdowns and program errors to minimize downtime
Maintain cleanliness of work area and monitor machines for discrepancies
Participate in continuous improvement programs to enhance production processes
Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Required competencies and certifications
Physically fit to perform machine operation and material handling tasks safely
Willingness to work overtime as needed
No skin allergies or adverse reactions to coolant oil and detergents used in the workplace
Preferred competencies and qualifications
No prior experience required; training will be provided
