Full Time SEO Specialist Jobs, Salary up to MYR 10,000 + bonus in Ajobthing WP Kuala Lumpur - Maukerja

PRIMARY DEPTH

• 3 to 5 years hands on SEO, with at least 2 on a large or programmatic site (marketplace, classifieds, e-commerce, job board, travel, property).

• Strong technical SEO: you can read a server log, a sitemap, rendered versus raw HTML, a robots file and a JSON-LD block, and explain what is wrong.

• Comfortable with data: Google Search Console and GA4 at an advanced level, spreadsheets with real formulas, and at least basic Python or SQL for pulling and joining data.

• Experience working with engineers: writing clear tickets, testing on staging, verifying fixes live.

• Working knowledge of AI search: how LLM answer engines pick and cite sources, and how that differs from classic ranking.

• Daily use of AI assistants in your own work, and a view on where they help and where they do not.

• Clear written English. Bahasa Malaysia is a strong plus. Chinese is a plus for Ricebowl.

GOOD TO HAVE

• Built an SEO report or data pipeline with code (scripts, APIs, Looker Studio, Kibana).

• Experience with JobPosting schema and Google for Jobs.

• Worked on multilingual or international sites.

• Experience with Lark or similar workspace tools.

• Shipped a Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) or AI visibility project.

• Own organic traffic and applications across three sites, with weekly targets per site reported in Lark.

• Run technical SEO for large programmatic sites: indexing, crawl budget, sitemaps, canonicals, noindex rules, JobPosting and other structured data, Core Web Vitals.

• Diagnose problems from the data, not from guesses. For example: why indexed pages are falling, why clicks are flat while impressions rise, whether paid ads are cannibalising organic.

• Plan and specify new SEO page types with product (job search hubs, salary pages, company pages, expired job handling) and write tickets engineers can act on.

• Pull and analyse Google Search Console and GA4 data via API, build reports and dashboards, and automate the recurring ones.

• Track and grow traffic from AI assistants (ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Copilot) as its own channel, and improve how our pages are cited and surfaced by them.

• Run keyword, competitor and content gap research (Semrush or Ahrefs) and turn it into a prioritised plan with expected impact.

• Audit Google for Jobs eligibility and keep our job pages inside it.

• Use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT or similar) daily to speed up audits, scripting, analysis and reporting. We expect you to automate your own repetitive work.

• Present clear, honest weekly and monthly reports to leadership: what moved, why, what is next.
