Responsibilities
Job Scope:
Develop and implement risk management strategies for major construction and development projects.
Identify and assess potential project risks, including technical, operational, financial and safety risks.
Conduct risk assessment workshops and coordinate with project stakeholders.
Establish risk mitigation plans to minimise project delays, cost overruns and operational issues.
Prepare, maintain and update project risk registers and assessment reports.
Monitor identified risks throughout the project lifecycle and recommend corrective actions.
Lead and promote risk awareness and management practices among project teams.
Advise project management on risk exposure and appropriate mitigation measures.
Review the effectiveness of risk management strategies and ensure timely implementation.
Ensure compliance with project requirements, relevant industry standards and risk management procedures.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably in construction management or engineering.
Possess professional certification in Enterprise Risk Management and/or Project Risk Management.
Must have formal training in Risk Assessment Methodology
Proven experience as a Risk Manager in relevant projects, with supporting project track records indicating appointment duration and project involvement.
