Full Time Middleware Specialist - Patching Jobs, in Quess Selection & Services - Maukerja

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end coordination of weekly accelerated patching cycles and urgent three-day patching requests, ensuring operational readiness, timely execution, escalation, and closure.
• Oversee patching activities from scope confirmation and readiness checks through testing, deployment, post-patch verification, reconciliation, and evidence collection.
• Maintain patch cycle plans, RACI matrices, action logs, approval timelines, dependencies, risks, and escalation records.
• Coordinate readiness and execution across infrastructure, middleware, network, application, security, service recovery, and change management teams.
• Track patch scope, Change Requests (CRQs), Vulnerability Risk Assessments (VRAs), deferments, exclusions, failed patches, rollback actions, and pending validation evidence.
• Support scheduled overnight, weekend, and public-holiday patching activities, including bridge coordination, incident escalation, and operational handovers.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, control checkpoints, cut-off timelines, escalation procedures, duty rosters, and exception-handling processes.
• Coordinate readiness reviews, process walkthroughs, dress rehearsals, and transition of patching processes into business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
• Prepare patch cycle closure records and support SLA reporting, KORI, KRCSA, and audit evidence requirements.
• Identify recurring operational issues, process gaps, and ownership challenges, recommending improvements and coordinating automation requirements with relevant teams.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure operations, patch management, change coordination, service delivery, or technology process governance.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix administration and server patching principles.
• Familiarity with middleware platforms such as WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Apache HTTP Server, and Tomcat.
• Experience coordinating production changes across infrastructure, middleware, network, and application teams.
• Understanding of change management processes, CRQs, VRAs, exception handling, rollback procedures, and post-patch validation.
• Ability to support scheduled overnight, weekend, and public-holiday patching activities when required.
• Strong coordination, documentation, stakeholder management, issue tracking, and escalation skills.
• ITIL certification or equivalent service management experience is an advantage.
