Job Description

• Plan and deliver engaging Performing Arts lessons for students across different age groups.
• Teach and develop students' skills in music, drama, dance and performance.
• Prepare students for school productions, performances, assemblies and special events.
• Encourage students to develop confidence, creativity, teamwork and self-expression.
• Organise rehearsals and guide students in preparing performances.
• Support and participate in school events, concerts and extracurricular activities.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore their creativity.
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
• Collaborate with teachers and the wider school community on performances and arts-related activities.
• Take responsibility for classroom management, planning and maintaining appropriate teaching resources.

Requirements

• Degree or relevant qualification in Performing Arts, Music, Drama, Dance, Education or a related field.
• Teaching experience in a school or educational setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
• Passionate about working with children and developing young performers.
• Ability to teach across different age groups and adapt lessons to students' abilities.
• Experience in directing or coordinating school productions is an advantage.

Pay: RM3,800.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
