Full Time Contracts Manager (MRT Project) Jobs, Salary up to SGD 9,000 in PEOPLESEARCH PTE. LTD. Islandwide (Singapore) - Maukerja

About the Role
Our client, a leading A1 main contractor, is looking for a Contracts Manager to join a major MRT project in West Singapore with a contract value of around S$600 million. Reporting to the Senior Contracts Manager, you will be overall in charge of the contracts for the whole project and lead a team of Senior Quantity Surveyors and Quantity Surveyors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all contractual and commercial matters for the project from start to finish
• Lead, guide and develop a team of Senior QS and QS
• Manage contract administration, including variations, claims, extension of time and final accounts
• Oversee subcontract procurement, tendering, negotiation and award
• Monitor project costs, cash flow and financial performance, and report to senior management
• Manage and resolve contractual issues and disputes with the client, consultants and subcontractors

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or any other relevant field
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in the QS/Contracts field in the construction industry
• Proven experience managing a team of QS and Senior QS
• Strong background in contracts management for large-scale infrastructure projects
• Experience in LTA projects will be considered. This includes MRT, depot, road and bridge projects
• Strong knowledge of Singapore construction contracts and commercial practices
• Good leadership, negotiation and communication skills
