Full Time Senior Designer (ID - Fit-Out) Jobs, Salary up to MYR 5,000 in Modular Scale Selangor - Maukerja

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end interior design process, from initial concept development and design planning to detailed design and project execution.
• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their design requirements, preferences, and project objectives, ensuring alignment with the overall creative direction and business goals.
• Review and oversee design documentation to ensure accuracy, technical feasibility, and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Develop and present design proposals, including mood boards, sketches, 3D renderings, and material selections, to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, resolve design-related issues, and ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and relevant regulations.
• Prepare and review detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and technical drawings using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant tools.
• Select and specify appropriate furniture, fixtures, fittings, finishes, and materials based on project requirements, design concepts, budget, and client expectations.
• Coordinate with internal teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely project delivery and maintain high standards of design quality.
• Monitor industry trends, emerging materials, and innovative design practices to enhance design solutions and maintain a competitive edge.
• Mentor, guide, and supervise junior designers, providing constructive feedback and support to strengthen their technical skills and professional development.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, contractors, and other relevant parties to ensure material quality, cost-effectiveness, technical suitability, and smooth project execution.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management from time to time

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in interior design, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proven track record of successfully managing projects and providing guidance and mentorship to junior designers.
• Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and highly organized, with the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of modular systems and carpentry drawings is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong passion for design innovation and a steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality, impactful results.
• Working knowledge of modular systems and the ability to interpret carpentry drawings is considered a strong asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
