Job Description – Delivery Rider

Position: Delivery Rider
Department: Operations
Reports To: Store Manager / Store-In-Charge
Location: Assigned Domino’s Store

Job Purpose

The Delivery Rider is responsible for delivering customer orders safely, accurately and on time, while maintaining Domino’s standards for food quality, customer service and professional conduct. The rider is also expected to support store operations when not performing deliveries.

Key Responsibilities1. Delivery Operations

• Deliver customer orders safely and promptly to the correct address.
• Check the order, drinks and other items before leaving the store to minimise missing or incorrect items.
• Handle pizzas and other products carefully to maintain food quality and presentation.
• Use the assigned delivery route efficiently while complying with all road and traffic regulations.
• Update delivery status accurately according to company procedures.
• Return to the store promptly after completing each delivery.

2. Customer Service

• Greet customers politely and professionally.
• Provide friendly and courteous service during every delivery.
• Handle customer enquiries professionally and refer complaints or service issues to the Store Manager/SIC when necessary.
• Represent the Domino’s brand positively at all times.

3. Food Quality & Safety

• Ensure delivery bags are clean and in good condition before use.
• Maintain proper handling of food during transportation.
• Protect orders from contamination, damage or unnecessary delays.
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and company operating procedures.

4. Road & Personal Safety

• Follow Singapore traffic regulations and practise safe riding at all times.
• Wear the required helmet, uniform and safety equipment.
• Do not engage in unsafe riding practices in order to achieve faster delivery times.
• Conduct basic checks of the assigned bicycle, e-bike or motorcycle before use.
• Immediately report accidents, vehicle defects, unsafe conditions or damaged equipment to the Store Manager/SIC.

5. Store Support

When there are no deliveries, riders are expected to support store operations, including:

• Folding pizza boxes and preparing delivery materials.
• Maintaining cleanliness of the rider and delivery areas.
• Organising delivery bags and equipment.
• Assisting with basic cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Supporting other reasonable operational duties assigned by the Store Manager/SIC.

Performance Expectations

Delivery Riders are expected to contribute towards:

• Fast and safe delivery performance
• Reduction of deliveries exceeding 40 minutes
• Order accuracy
• Customer satisfaction / NPS
• Product quality
• Good attendance and punctuality
• Proper care of company equipment
• Compliance with food safety and operational standards

Requirements

• Able to perform delivery duties
• Possess a valid class 2 driving licence where required for the bike used.
• Familiar with or able to navigate delivery areas using navigation applications.
• Able to work during peak periods, weekends and public holidays according to roster requirements.
• Physically able to perform normal delivery and store-support duties.
• Responsible, punctual and customer-focused.
• Able to work effectively as part of a store team.

The rider's responsibility is not simply to transport an order from the store to the customer. The rider plays an important role in ensuring the customer satisfaction

Pay: $4,000.00 - $5,000.00 per month
