Job Summary
You will provide front-of-house and administrative support, assist with clinical room preparation and equipment operation, and manage patient communications including after-hours inquiries to ensure smooth clinic operations and excellent patient service.
Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients, verify identity, and update medical records or insurance panel profiles accurately
Manage appointment scheduling, register new patients, and process billing, payment collection, and insurance claims efficiently
Prepare and tidy consultation rooms between patient visits, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and full stock of necessary supplies
Operate and maintain the uroflowmetry machine, guiding patients through the procedure safely and correctly
Label and dispense medications under specialist supervision following clinic protocols
Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries via phone and WhatsApp during office hours
Monitor and reply to urgent patient WhatsApp messages after hours on a rostered basis to support booking requests and clinic follow-ups
Required competencies and certifications
Minimum GCE O-Level, N-Level, or relevant healthcare support certificate (e.g., NITEC in Nursing or Healthcare Services)
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Prior experience working in a specialist clinic, preferably in Urology, General Surgery, or Nephrology
Comfortable operating clinical equipment such as uroflow meters and managing data entry in clinic management systems
Excellent written communication skills for professional patient interactions via WhatsApp
Ability to maintain high hygiene standards and follow infection control guidelines when preparing consultation rooms
Flexibility to check and respond to patient messages outside standard operating hours

Working Hours & Remote Coverage
In-Clinic: Standard operating hours (Monday to Friday, half-day Saturdays)
Remote: Rostered or designated after-hours WhatsApp message monitoring and response during evenings or weekends
