Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior BIM Engineer. The role is responsible for managing and maintaining engineering drawing templates, ensuring compliance with quality standards and QMS requirements, preparing mechanical design drawings, and developing AutoCAD drawings, including P&IDs, schematics, GA drawings, isometrics, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings. The position also supports bidding activities, project execution, and site surveys.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in plant design.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Revit.
- Excellent technical drawing skills.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks, Advance Steel, and Inventor is an added advantage.
- Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Strong creative and visualization skills.
- Ability to work independently and support the project team.
- Experience in the water treatment industry and water & wastewater treatment projects will be an added advantage.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BIM models using Revit.
- Prepare technical drawings and design documentation for plant design projects.
- Use engineering software including Revit, AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant 3D, Navisworks, Advance Steel, and Inventor as required.
- Support project teams and contribute to project delivery activities.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Apply project management skills to support project execution.
- Work independently while providing support to the wider project team.
