Our client is a global reinsurance company with well-established business in Asia. They are seeking pricing and business development actuary to grow their L&H business in the Asia-Pacific region. (2 roles)

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute pricing and market strategies for thailand or japan market
• Own the business performance for the region, delivering sustainable revenue and profitability growth.
• Oversee the development and negotiation of new business and in-force reinsurance solutions tailored to client and company needs.
• Drive marketing and communications initiatives to brand profile in your markets, in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications team.
• Being company representative at client events, industry forums, and conferences, showcasing our expertise and leadership.
• Ensure full adherence to internal risk, governance, and reporting standards across business development activities.

Requirements:

• Qualified Actuary OR relevant education background with technical pricing, business development, sales and client management experience
• At least 5 years in life re-insurance or insurance company, with strong client relationship skills
• Technical pricing experiences is essential
• Expertise in structuring, pricing, and negotiating reinsurance transactions with both technical rigour and commercial acumen.
• Commercially minded, strategic, and collaborative
• Quarterly travel to those markets
