Morgan Philips Malaysia is partnering with a large, well-established Malaysian organisation on a confidential search for a senior talent leader. This role shapes how a sizeable workforce is assessed, grown and prepared for leadership.

The opportunity

You'll own the organisation's end-to-end talent development agenda, covering performance, career progression, leadership pipeline and capability building, and you'll make sure it supports long-term business priorities.

What you'll lead

• Performance: Own the performance framework and drive consistent, fair application across the organisation, with regular reviews to keep it effective.
• Career progression: Shape and refine promotion policy so it keeps pace with the organisation's growth.
• Leadership pipeline: Design and embed a succession approach, identify and assess high-potential talent, and build readiness through structured learning, stretch assignments and on-the-job development.
• Capability building: Set the capability framework across leadership, technical and functional areas, and oversee flagship development programmes for key talent.

What we're looking for

• Senior experience leading talent management, performance or leadership development in a large, complex organisation
• A track record of designing frameworks and getting them adopted at scale
• Strong stakeholder influence up to senior leadership level
• A strategic thinker who can also deliver
