We’re Hiring: Junior Accounts Assistant

Hydroaxys Sdn Bhd is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accounts Assistant to join our team in Balakong, Selangor.

This opportunity is suitable for candidates with 1–2 years of hands-on accounting experience who are comfortable managing day-to-day accounting activities and have experience with SQL Accounting Software.

• Handle daily accounting transactions, data entry and bookkeeping

• Process and verify invoices, payment vouchers, purchase orders and supporting documents

• Support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities

• Monitor outstanding payments and assist with payment and collection follow-ups

• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure transactions are accurately recorded

• Assist with month-end closing and preparation of accounting schedules

• Maintain organised accounting records and supporting documents

• Prepare accounting reports using SQL Accounting Software

• Identify discrepancies, incomplete records or missing documentation

• Support internal and external audit requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field

• Preferably 1–2 years of experience in accounting or finance

• Hands-on experience with SQL Accounting Software is highly preferred

• Good understanding of basic accounting principles, AP, AR, invoicing and bank reconciliation

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office

• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy

• Organised, responsible and able to follow through on assigned tasks

• Proactive and willing to take initiative

• Possess a valid driving licence and be able to travel when required
