Full Time Quantity Surveyor Jobs, Salary up to MYR 6,000 in Ze-De WP Kuala Lumpur - Maukerja

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or equivalent.

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or construction industry.

• Experience in tendering, costing, progress claims, variation orders and subcontractor management.

• Good understanding of construction methods, drawings, specifications and contract documentation.

• Knowledge of relevant construction contracts and commercial practices.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Good analytical, numerical and negotiation skills.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

• Willing to travel to project sites when required.

• Responsible for preparing quantity take-off and measurement based on drawings, specifications and site requirements
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BQ), cost estimates and material quantity calculations
• Source quotations from suppliers and subcontractors and conduct price comparison
• Assist in tender preparation, evaluation and negotiation with suppliers/subcontractors
• Monitor project costs and ensure expenditure is within the approved budget
• Prepare and evaluate variation orders, including cost impact and supporting documentation
• Prepare progress claims and verify work done based on site progress
• Verify subcontractor and supplier invoices, claims and supporting documents
• Monitor material quantities, usage and wastage at site
• Maintain proper records of project costs, contracts, quotations and payment documents
• Prepare monthly cost reports and update project cost status for Management
• Assist in preparation of final accounts and reconciliation of project costs
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Site Team, Consultants, suppliers and subcontractors on commercial matters
• Ensure all measurements, claims and cost documentation are accurate and properly maintained
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by Management
