Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and organised Training & Development Executive to support the planning, coordination and implementation of employee training and development programmes across our retail operations.

The successful candidate will work closely with the HR team, Department Heads and outlet management to deliver effective training programmes, enhance employee capabilities and support continuous improvement in operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and implementing training programmes for employees across Head Office and retail outlets.
• Coordinate training schedules, venues, training materials, attendance and logistical arrangements.
• Liaise with Department Heads, outlet management and external training providers to ensure smooth training delivery.
• Support employee onboarding, orientation, operational training, supervisory development and soft skills programmes.
• Conduct or facilitate training sessions when required.
• Assist in identifying training needs and employee development opportunities.
• Prepare training materials, presentations and supporting documentation.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance, evaluation forms and employee training history.
• Collect participant feedback and assist in evaluating training effectiveness.
• Prepare training reports and monitor programme participation and completion.
• Support employee engagement and learning initiatives organised by the HR Department.
• Travel to retail outlets and other company locations when required to support training activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Education, Training & Development or a related field.
• Preferably 1–3 years of relevant experience in Training & Development, Learning & Development, Human Resources or a related function.
• Experience in retail, supermarket or operational environments will be an added advantage.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Strong coordination, administrative and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Able to prepare training materials and facilitate training sessions when required.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transport, with willingness to travel between outlets.
• Willing to work on weekends, public holidays or outside normal working hours when required.
