Full Time Operations Assistant (Full Time) Jobs, in Books For Better World Selangor - Maukerja

Responsibilities:

• Heavy Lifting & Sorting: Pack, sort, label, load, and unload boxes of books.
• Store & Booth Support: Set up pop-up booths, book fairs, and retail displays—lift shelves, arrange books, and maintain displays.
• Driver’s Sidekick (or Main Driver): Travel around the Klang Valley to collect, transport, and distribute books.
• Keep Things Organized: Maintain stock in the workspace and track book movements.
• Daily Teamwork: Work closely with the Senior Operations Executive and Founder to handle daily logistics tasks.

Qualifications & Other Requirements:

• Minimum SPM certificate (or equivalent).
• Valid driving licence (Driving Malaysian License required).
• Energetic and physically fit for manual handling (able to move 20–30 boxes).
• Dependable, punctual, and takes pride in completing tasks well.
• Genuine interest in community impact, literacy, or books.
• No prior experience in book logistics required—training will be provided.
• Flexible schedule.
  

Pay

 RM100.00 per day

Books For A Better World Sdn. Bhd. (BFBW) is a for-profit social enterprise (founded in 2022) focused on promoting literacy and reducing book waste through second-hand bookstores, community programmes, and donation boxes across the Klang Valley. The Operations Assistant will support day-to-day book movements and logistics, including packing, sorting, transporting, stock maintenance, and setup of stores and pop-up booths, working closely with the Senior Operations Executive and Founder.
