Job Summary

Lead the design, development, delivery, and support of business-critical applications, ensuring service stability, security compliance, and successful project execution while providing technical leadership to the development team.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure continuity of business-as-usual (BAU) operations and project support activities.
• Manage and provide technical leadership to the existing development team, including task prioritization, technical guidance, code reviews, and delivery oversight.
• Manage security-related matters, incidents, and production issues in a timely manner.
• Support planned releases and ongoing project initiatives.
• Provide standby support for unplanned production incidents outside working hours when required.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer, transition, and handover activities.
• Communicate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Drive solution design, architecture reviews, development standards, and best practices.
• Ensure high-quality delivery through code reviews, testing governance, and risk management.
• Minimize operational risks, maintain service stability, drive technical excellence, and ensure successful project delivery.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
• At least 8 years of application development experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a Technical Lead or team leadership role.
• Strong experience in .NET, Java, Node.js, TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and enterprise application development.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, system integration, and software architecture.
• Experience managing production support, incident management, and security remediation activities.
• Strong stakeholder communication, leadership, and mentoring skills.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and release management.

Pay: From RM7,000.00 per month
