Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Draftsman / Draftman to support the preparation of 2D design proposals and technical drawings for project submissions. This role works closely with the sales and project teams to translate design concepts into clear, accurate, and presentation-ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities

1. 2D Design & Drawing Preparation

• Prepare 2D layout drawings, plans, and elevations for project proposals
• Develop tile layout concepts (pattern, alignment, application areas)
• Produce submission drawings based on project requirements and specifications
• Ensure drawings are clear, accurate, and aligned with design intent

2. Proposal & Submission Support

• Support project team in preparing tender / developer submissions
• Compile drawings into presentation-ready proposal decks
• Revise drawings based on feedback from sales, designers, or clients
• Ensure timely delivery of drawings for submission deadlines

3. Technical Coordination

• Interpret architectural drawings and project requirements
• Ensure layouts comply with technical standards and site conditions
• Coordinate with internal teams for product specifications and details

4. Documentation & File Management

• Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions
• Ensure proper version control for all submission files
• Support development of standard drawing templates and formats

Requirements

• Min. Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
• Minimum 1–2 years experience in drafting or design support
• Proficient in:
• AutoCAD (mandatory)
• SketchUp (basic, optional)
• Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop (preferred for presentation)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to work under tight deadlines
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience in tile / building materials / interior projects
• Familiarity with layout planning (floor, wall, wet areas)
• Understanding of basic construction / site conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
