Full Time Software Engineer Jobs, Salary up to SGD 8,000 in ITCAN Pte Ltd - Maukerja

We’re hiring a Software Engineer with strong Java skills to join an engineering team based in Singapore. You’ll design, build, and maintain Java applications that deliver real business value, working closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.

What you’ll do

• Design and develop scalable Java applications using OOP principles and proven design patterns
• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and take part in code reviews
• Translate technical requirements into efficient, well-organized solutions
• Write unit tests and practice test-driven development to keep applications reliable
• Debug and troubleshoot complex issues
• Contribute technical insights and help shape architectural decisions
• Manage code with Git and keep repositories clean
• Join agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Optimize performance and keep up with developments in the Java ecosystem

What you’ll need

• Strong Java proficiency and a solid grasp of object-oriented programming
• Experience building production-grade Java applications
• Good knowledge of software design patterns and best practices
• Hands-on experience with Git
• Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and TDD
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
• Good organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
• Experience working in collaborative teams
• Around 3 years of relevant experience

Nice to have

• Spring Boot / Spring Framework
• Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, and relational database design
• React
• Microservices architecture and RESTful API development
• CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment
• Docker or other containerization tools
• Performance tuning and debugging of complex systems
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and the SDLC

Pay: $4,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
