Proven experience as a Cook or similar role, with a minimum of 1-2 years in a professional kitchen environment.

Solid understanding of food preparation techniques, including chopping, dicing, sautéing, and grilling.

Proficiency in various cooking methods and the ability to follow recipes accurately.

Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP, local health regulations) to ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.

Excellent communication skills in English to effectively understand instructions and collaborate with kitchen staff and management.

Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderately heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.

A secondary school qualification (SPM or equivalent) is required.

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring high quality and consistency.

Manage food preparation activities, including chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients for various menu items.

Adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment at all times.

Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to the supervisor.

Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, performing basic cleaning and troubleshooting as needed.

Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow and timely service during peak hours.
