Full Time Field Service Technician Jobs, Salary up to MYR 6,000 in GP Search WP Kuala Lumpur - Maukerja

Diploma or Certificate in Electrical, Electronics, Automotive or related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in GPS tracking, telematics, automotive electrical or IoT systems

Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and vehicle wiring

Able to use multimeter and other electrical diagnostic tools

Familiar with CAN bus, vehicle sensors and fleet management platforms

Good troubleshooting, documentation and reporting skills

Able to work independently and lead junior technicians

Possess valid driving licence and willing to travel to customer locations

Technical Operations

Install, test and commission GPS tracking devices on vehicles and fleet assets

Install and maintain IoT devices and sensors for cold storage and other equipment

Diagnose and troubleshoot wiring, power supply, antennas, SIM cards and communication issues

Perform device replacement, firmware updates and system testing when required

Monitor device connectivity and resolve offline, inaccurate location or abnormal tracking issues

Support integration of GPS systems with fuel monitoring, temperature sensors, cameras and other fleet equipment

Documentation & Coordination

Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, serial numbers and service activities

Prepare service reports, installation checklists and troubleshooting documentation

Coordinate with Operations, IT and Customer Service teams to resolve technical issues

Provide on-site technical support to customers and fleet operators

Senior Responsibilities

Lead and allocate technical jobs to junior technicians

Review and verify quality of GPS installations and repairs

Identify recurring technical problems and recommend permanent solutions

Monitor technician performance and service turnaround time

Assist management with system implementation and technical planning
