We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer with an engineering background to join a team that delivers advanced software solutions that drive digital engineering, AI adoption and transformation initiatives across the mobility industry. In this role, you will combine your engineering knowledge with strong programming skills to develop practical software solutions that support engineering workflows, with AI technologies increasingly becoming part of these solutions. We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer with an engineering background to join a team that delivers advanced software solutions that drive digital engineering, AI adoption and transformation initiatives across the mobility industry. In this role, you will combine your engineering knowledge with strong programming skills to develop practical software solutions that support engineering workflows, with AI technologies increasingly becoming part of these solutions. You will also collaborate directly with customers, contributing your technical expertise in a consulting-oriented environment to shape practical, high-impact solutions.
YOUR TASKS
- Design, develop and maintain software solutions that support digital and data-driven initiatives, mostly for clients in the mobility industry
- Apply strong programming skills in Python, C++ and/or C# to implement robust, scalable and maintainable systems
- Work with AI-related technologies and contribute to developing software that integrates AI-based technologies into project solutions
- Ensure software quality, performance and maintainability through structured development practices and code reviews
- Integrate applications and components with existing systems, tools and platforms as required by project needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to understand requirements, refine concepts and deliver robust technical solutions
- Actively contribute to documentation, technical discussions and knowledge sharing within the engineering team
- Experience in software development, engineering software, scientific computing, simulation, or a comparable technical field
- Background in Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or similar
- Strong programming skills in Python, with additional experience in C#, C++, or similar languages
- Interest in AI technologies and their application to engineering software; practical experience with AI/ML frameworks is a plus
- Comfortable working in customer-facing setups and contributing to technical discussions
- Ability to analyze technical problems and design practical, maintainable software solutions
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, international teams and contribute to a constructive engineering culture
- Clear and confident communication skills in English, both written and verbal; German is a plus
