Freelance / Contract
Banelé | Singapore's #1 Crusty Banana Cake
We're looking for a creative, social media-savvy individual to help bring Banelé's personality to life online! Someone who loves storytelling, has an eye for aesthetics, and knows how to create engaging content that feels fresh, fun and authentic.
If you have no formal experience but have a strong interest or are currently studying something related, we'd love to hear from you too!
Job Responsibilities
Content Creation:
Conceptualise, shoot and edit engaging content for Instagram and TikTok, including Reels, photos, Stories and carousel posts.
Social Media Management:
Plan, schedule and publish content across our social media platforms.
Creative Direction:
Develop fresh content ideas and campaigns that reflect Banelé's brand personality and connect with our audience.
Trend Spotting:
Stay updated on social media trends, trending audio and creative formats, adapting them to suit our brand.
Storytelling:
Create content featuring our products, behind-the-scenes moments, team, founder, collaborations and everyday bakery life.
Copywriting:
Craft engaging captions that are witty, personable and aligned with our brand voice.
Job Requirements
Experience or a strong interest in social media content creation and/or management, preferably for lifestyle, F&B or consumer brands
Strong creative instincts, visual storytelling skills and a good eye for photography and videography.
Proficient in filming and editing short-form videos using tools such as CapCut, Canva or similar applications.
Good understanding of Instagram and TikTok trends, algorithms and best practices.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging captions.
Independent, proactive, organised and able to manage content schedules and deadlines.
Comfortable directing and filming people, including staff and founder-led content.
Able to attend occasional on-site shoots in Singapore.
A genuine interest in food, lifestyle and creative storytelling.
A portfolio or examples of past social media work (if any)
Engagement Details
Type:
Freelance or contract, with potential for a longer-term arrangement.
Location:
Hybrid / Flexible, with occasional on-site shoots.
Commitment:
To be discussed based on scope and deliverables.
Remuneration:
To be discussed. Please propose - commensurate with experience and agreed scope of work.
