Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of service counters, buffet lines, and pantry stations
- Replenish food items, beverages, condiments, cutlery, and service ware throughout service periods
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping tables, collecting trays, and sanitising surfaces
- Support catering supervisors during corporate functions and meetings
- Assist in portioning andplating of food under the guidance of supervisors or chefs
- Operate the pantry orself-service station, assisting guests with selections and queries
- Conduct basic temperaturechecks and record food display logs as instructed
- Follow all food safety,hygiene, and personal grooming standards at all times
- Assist in receivingdeliveries, checking quantities, and storing items correctly
- Report equipment issues, stock shortages, and guest complaints to the supervisor immediately
