Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Occupational Health and Safety Officer role based in Shah Alam. The Occupational Health and Safety Officer will monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards across manufacturing and assembly operations. Daily tasks include conducting workplace inspections, identifying hazards, performing risk assessments, and recommending corrective actions. The role involves developing and updating safety policies and procedures, organizing safety trainings and briefings, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company requirements. The Officer will investigate incidents and near-misses, prepare reports, coordinate corrective and preventive measures, and collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, and management teams to promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• OYKSHO (Green Book) Registered with DOSH
• Candidates should possess strong Health & Safety and Workplace Safety skills, with a practical understanding of risk assessment and hazard control.
• Candidates should possess solid Occupational Health knowledge, including awareness of ergonomics, industrial hygiene, and employee well-being.
• Candidates should possess Environment Health and Safety (EHS) expertise, with familiarity in regulatory compliance, incident reporting, and continuous improvement practices.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive environments, preferably in metal stamping or assembly operations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to conduct training, influence stakeholders, and promote a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to work on-site in Shah Alam, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate documentation and reports.
