Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a technically capable Services Engineer (Power) to support the installation, commissioning, maintenance and troubleshooting of critical power systems used in data centre environments.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with UPS systems, PDUs, Busway or electrical distribution systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, test and commission UPS systems, PDUs, Busway and related electrical systems at customer sites.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot electrical and power system faults.
  • Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns involving power system failures or alarms.
  • Support project implementation and ensure electrical works comply with approved designs and safety requirements.
  • Prepare service reports, maintenance records and technical documentation.
  • Provide technical training and handover support to customers after installation.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on spare parts, system upgrades and technical support.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical installation, commissioning or maintenance.
  • Experience with UPS systems, PDUs, Busway or electrical distribution systems.
  • Familiarity with major UPS brands will be an advantage.
  • Able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Good understanding of electrical safety and compliance standards, including IEC and local electrical codes.
  • Willing to travel and perform fieldwork at customer locations.
  • Good troubleshooting, problem-solving and communication skills.
