Job Description

We are looking for a Test Engineer to support semiconductor and electronic component testing, quality and counterfeit screening, and test system development activities. In this role, you will perform daily testing and quality verification, develop and execute test methodologies, analyse test results, troubleshoot failures, and support RMA investigations. You will also ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and industry regulations, including ISO 17025 laboratory practices.

What can you do for us!

• Support component authentication, counterfeit detection and quality screening in line with customer specifications and industry standards.
• Perform electrical, functional and reliability testing on semiconductor devices and electronic components, ensuring accurate and repeatable results.
• Assist with customer RMA investigations, failure verification and defect analysis, and communicate findings clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop, maintain and enhance test procedures, test software and test platforms to improve coverage, throughput and reliability.
• Analyse test data to deliver accurate pass/fail dispositions and well-documented technical reports.
• Diagnose and resolve component-level, hardware and test system issues, escalating complex cases where appropriate.
• Maintain test equipment, fixtures, calibration records and associated documentation to ensure traceability and audit readiness.
• Uphold customer requirements, quality management systems and ISO 17025 laboratory practices in all testing activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen test methods, quality, efficiency and operational performance.

Who we're looking for!

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in semiconductor testing, electronics testing, quality engineering or a related field.
• Familiarity with laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, signal generators and power supplies.
• Knowledge of ESD practices, failure analysis, quality systems and ISO 17025 requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good time management and prioritization, with the ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, and able to work independently and within a team.
• Detail-oriented, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.

Preferred / Advantages

• Experience testing CPUs, ICs, memory or other electronic components.
• Experience with LabVIEW, C#, test automation or PCBA troubleshooting.
