Our client is a leading international energy trading and marketing organization with an established presence across global energy markets. The Singapore office serves as a key regional hub for LNG and energy trading activities, offering exposure to international markets, portfolio optimization, and commercial trading strategies.

We are seeking an LNG Market Analyst to support the trading desk by delivering market intelligence, fundamental analysis, and data-driven insights across global LNG markets. The role will work closely with traders and senior stakeholders to identify market opportunities, support trading strategies, and optimize LNG portfolio performance.

• Provide daily market updates and intelligence on global LNG fundamentals, pricing, shipping, and trade flows.
• Develop and maintain LNG supply and demand forecasts, market outlooks, and scenario analyses.
• Monitor key LNG benchmarks including JKM, TTF, and Henry Hub, identifying pricing trends and arbitrage opportunities.
• Support trading and optimization activities through analytical modelling and market assessments.
• Deliver real-time market insights and actionable recommendations to traders.
• Enhance forecasting methodologies, pricing models, and analytical tools.
• Maintain and improve databases, dashboards, and analytics infrastructure.
• Partner with traders, strategy teams, and management on market research, strategic initiatives, and presentations.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in LNG market analysis, commodity analytics, or a trading support function.
• Strong understanding of global LNG market dynamics, pricing mechanisms, and trade flows.
• Experience in supply-demand modelling, market forecasting, and commodity valuation.
• Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, Python, SQL, or similar platforms.
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to communicate complex market insights clearly in a fast-paced trading environment.
