Previous marine mechanic, motorman or engine-room maintenance experience.

Good mechanical fitting and machinery-repair skills.

Cruise or passenger vessel experience preferred.

Able to work safely with engineering tools and equipment.

Good working English.

Willing to serve an 8-month contract on board an international cruise vessel, with sign-on in September 2026.

Valid passport, seafarer medical fitness and STCW certification, or willing to obtain them before joining.

Return flights, accommodation and meals provided throughout the contract.

Assist with overhaul and repair of pumps, valves, compressors and auxiliary machinery.

Carry out dismantling, cleaning, inspection and reassembly of mechanical components.

Perform fitting, alignment and general workshop duties.

Support maintenance of piping systems and machinery foundations where required.

Report defects and maintain tools and work areas.

Follow permit-to-work, isolation and engine-room safety procedures.
