Warehouse Operations Excellence Specialist
Make the warehouse smarter. Faster. Better.
Industry: FMCG | Function: Supply Chain / Operations Excellence
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a
Warehouse Operations Excellence Manager who gets excited by one simple question:
“How can we do this better?”
This is not a role for someone who just monitors KPIs and writes reports. We’re looking for a
hands-on transformation driver who can walk into a warehouse, spot the bottlenecks, challenge the status quo and turn good ideas into measurable results.
You’ll be the driving force behind
warehouse productivity, process optimisation, Lean initiatives, automation and continuous improvement, working closely with warehouse and supply chain teams to build a faster, smarter and more scalable operation.
What You’ll Be Doing - Challenge the status quo by reviewing warehouse processes from inbound, storage and picking to packing and outbound.
- Identify bottlenecks, waste and productivity gaps, then turn them into practical improvement projects.
- Lead Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma and continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations.
- Improve manpower productivity, warehouse capacity, space utilisation, workflow and overall operating costs.
- Build and drive meaningful warehouse KPIs such as productivity, inventory accuracy, OTIF, order fulfilment, utilisation and cost per order/case.
- Standardise best practices through effective SOPs, work instructions and operational standards.
- Look for opportunities to introduce automation, digital tools, WMS enhancements and data-driven solutions.
- Lead warehouse transformation projects from idea → implementation → measurable results.
- Work closely with Supply Chain, IT, Finance, Procurement, Commercial and 3PL partners to solve operational challenges.
- Use data to tell the story, but get your hands dirty on the warehouse floor to understand what is really happening.
- Coach warehouse teams and build a culture where continuous improvement becomes part of the everyday operation.
- Support warehouse expansion, layout redesign, new facility setup and other strategic supply chain projects.
What Makes You a Great Fit - Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience across warehouse, logistics, supply chain or operations excellence.
- Strong experience in warehouse transformation, process improvement and productivity optimisation.
- FMCG, consumer goods, retail, e-commerce or other high-volume / fast-moving environments would be a strong advantage.
- Solid understanding of Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma or similar methodologies.
- Comfortable working with WMS, ERP, warehouse automation and operational data.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Analytical enough to find the problem, but practical enough to actually fix it.
- A natural change agent who enjoys influencing people and making things happen.
Why This Role?
You’ll have the opportunity to make a
visible impact on how the warehouse operates, rather than simply managing an existing process.
If you enjoy walking into a warehouse and immediately thinking:
“Why are they doing it this way?”
“There must be a better way.”
“Let’s fix it.”
*************;d like to hear from you!
Bring your ideas. Challenge the norm. Improve the operation. Make an impact.
