As we continue to grow internationally, we are looking for a Senior Consultant with a strong Mendix background to lead customer projects, deliver tailored solutions and contribute to the continued development of our organisation.

The Role

As a Senior Consultant at Sustaira, you will work closely with customers, partners and colleagues to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. You will take a leading role in customer projects, leveraging your Mendix expertise to implement solutions on the Sustaira platform, configure existing solution templates and develop tailored or fully custom applications.

Beyond technical delivery, you will contribute to internal initiatives, support the professionalisation of our organisation and identify opportunities to improve how we deliver value to our customers. You will also have the opportunity to explore the integration of AI into Mendix solutions.

This is a remote position, primarily intended for candidates based in Malaysia, Thailand or Vietnam, who are comfortable working in an international, customer-facing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to customer projects, from understanding business requirements to designing, developing and implementing technical solutions.
• Work with customers and partners to translate sustainability challenges into scalable digital solutions.
• Configure and implement existing Sustaira solutions and templates, as well as develop tailored and custom applications using Mendix.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Take ownership of technical decisions and contribute to internal initiatives.
• Help improve internal processes, delivery practices and ways of working as Sustaira grows.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI capabilities into Mendix solutions and enhance customer workflows.

Profile and Qualifications

• At least 3 years of Mendix development experience, preferably in customer-facing roles.
• Mendix Advanced certification, with Expert certification preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to take ownership and lead customer projects or internal initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent English communication skills (C1 level or higher). Dutch is not required.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment and contributing to the professionalisation of a growing organisation.
• Primarily based in Malaysia, Thailand or Vietnam.
• Available to work at least 32 hours per week.
• An interest in sustainability and digital transformation. Experience in the sustainability domain is an advantage.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into Mendix solutions is a plus.
