Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, responsible and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Singapore.

The successful candidate will be responsible for mechanical design, engineering analysis, equipment installation, maintenance coordination and technical support for engineering projects.

You will work closely with project managers, engineers, technicians, contractors and other departments to ensure that mechanical systems and equipment operate safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications and applicable engineering standards.

This position offers opportunities to develop technical expertise and gain experience across various mechanical engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical engineering design, calculations and technical assessments.
• Prepare engineering drawings, technical specifications, reports and documentation.
• Review mechanical drawings and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Assist with the selection, installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, consultants and internal engineering teams.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical support during project implementation.
• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and system-related issues.
• Recommend engineering solutions to improve equipment reliability, efficiency and safety.
• Assist with preventive maintenance planning and maintenance activities.
• Ensure engineering work complies with relevant safety requirements, technical standards and applicable regulations.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular technical updates to management.
• Maintain accurate engineering records, reports and project documentation.
• Perform other mechanical engineering duties assigned by the supervisor or management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering qualification.
• Previous experience in mechanical engineering, equipment maintenance, project engineering or related fields is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are welcome to apply.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering principles and engineering practices.
• Familiarity with mechanical systems, equipment and engineering components.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of SolidWorks, AutoCAD Mechanical or other engineering design software is an advantage.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and equipment manuals.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Able to work independently and manage assigned tasks responsibly.
• Willing to attend site visits when required.
