Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, are looking for Software Engineers.
The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising, and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.
The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
You will be working in a newly set-up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain data integration solutions for Global Data Warehouse (GDW) and Data Mart environments.
Work with Teradata IntelliFlex and Informatica Data Integration tools for data extraction, transformation and loading.
Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica BDM, IDQ and IDL.
Work with Teradata components, including TD Studio, MDM, FSLDM, GCFR and Viewpoint.
Perform database operations and data processing across AS400 DB2, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
Work with data processing and analytics technologies, including Spark, HUE, Hive, Impala and Kafka.
Support business intelligence and reporting solutions using Microsoft Business Intelligence, Qlik Sense, Power BI and Business Objects.
Work with SAS, Microsoft R and Experian PowerCurve platforms.
Use QuerySurge for data validation and testing activities.
Support development and deployment activities using Jenkins, Bitbucket, SonarQube and Aldon.
Work with JIRA for project tracking and Control-M for job scheduling.
Perform development and support activities across AS400, AIX, Linux and Windows environments.
Skills
Must have
3–5 years of experience in Data Warehouse / EDW development.
Experience working on Global Data Warehouse (GDW) and Data Mart environments.
Relevant experience with the listed data warehouse, ETL, database and BI platforms.
Technical Skills
Data Warehouse: Teradata IntelliFlex, TD Studio, MDM, FSLDM, GCFR, Viewpoint.
ETL & Data Integration: Informatica BDM, IDQ, IDL.
Databases: AS400 DB2, Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
