Full Time Senior Solution Architect Jobs, in Confidential Company Selangor - Maukerja

Job Purpose

The Solutions Architect is responsible for supporting presales and solution development activities by translating customer business and technical requirements into practical technology solutions. The role works closely with sales, technical, and delivery teams throughout the customer engagement lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Presales & Solution Design

• Work closely with Sales and Business Development teams to understand customer business and technical requirements.
• Design appropriate cloud, security, infrastructure, and related enterprise technology solutions.
• Assess solution feasibility, integration requirements, dependencies, and implementation considerations.
• Develop solution architectures that meet customer requirements while considering scalability, reliability, security, and cost effectiveness.

2. Proposal & Tender Support

• Prepare technical proposals, solution designs, architecture documentation, scope of work, and other supporting materials.
• Provide technical input for RFI, RFP, tender, and proposal submissions.
• Develop technical justifications and solution recommendations to support business proposals.
• Prepare solution costing and Bill of Materials (BOM), where applicable, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.

3. Customer Engagement

• Participate in customer meetings, technical discussions, workshops, and presentations.
• Gather, analyse, clarify, and document customer requirements.
• Present proposed architectures, technical approaches, and solution benefits to customers.
• Address technical questions and provide clarification throughout the evaluation and proposal process.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate with sales, technical, project, and delivery teams to develop end-to-end solutions.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to validate solution design, technical feasibility, resource requirements, assumptions, and implementation considerations.
• Support the handover of successful opportunities from presales to implementation or delivery teams.

5. Commercial & Technical Governance

• Ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, practical, scalable, and aligned with customer requirements.
• Provide technical input for solution costing and commercially viable proposals.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, assumptions, and constraints at the solution-design stage.
• Support technical reviews to maintain the quality and consistency of proposed solutions.

6. Implementation Support

• Provide technical clarification and solution-related support during implementation when required.
• Work with relevant teams to resolve solution-design issues and maintain alignment between the proposed and implemented solutions.
• Capture lessons learned to improve future solution designs and proposals.

7. Technology & Knowledge Development

• Maintain awareness of developments in cloud computing, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and enterprise technology.
• Continuously strengthen relevant technical and solution architecture competencies.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and improvement of solution architecture practices within the team.
