Desktop Support Engineer | Global Hedge Fund | Singapore | High-Touch Technology Support

Are you an experienced support engineer who enjoys solving complex problems and working directly with demanding users in a fast-paced investment environment?

I’m working with a leading global hedge fund that’s hiring a Desktop Support Engineer in Singapore. This is a high-touch role supporting users across the business, including senior leadership, with exposure to a much broader technology environment than traditional desktop support.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide desktop and end-user support across local and global offices.
  • Support Windows, Office 365, Active Directory, Exchange Online, and Citrix.
  • Manage Azure VDI, VPN access, mobile devices, and collaboration tools.
  • Support Bloomberg and other market-data applications.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, networking, DNS, DHCP, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, device inventory, and office moves.
  • Track incidents through JIRA and ensure timely, well-documented resolution.
  • Contribute to PowerShell scripting, automation, and software packaging.

What We’re Looking For

  • Around 5 years of desktop support experience within a hedge fund, asset manager, investment firm, or financial institution.
  • Strong Windows, Active Directory, Office 365, Citrix, and VDI experience.
  • Experience supporting Bloomberg, VPN connectivity, mobile devices, and remote users.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer-service skills.
  • The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and follow issues through to resolution.
  • PowerShell, automation, or SCCM experience would be advantageous.
  • Applicants must already have the right to work in Singapore, as visa sponsorship is not available.
