Job Description
System Administration of Linux/Unix environment:
Working experience on RHEL/HP-UX/Solaris/AIX Servers
Knowledge on Cluster management software
Patch management and Vulenrability Management
Troubleshooting skills in OS & Hardware related issues
Extensive Experience in OS and Hardware/Firmware patching.
Experience on Patch management tools like BigFix, SCCM etc.
Perform Patch assessment and recommend/plan deployment.
Experience on Automation of Pre and Post patching tasks.
Hand-on knowledge on various RAID technologies (RAID 0+1, RAID 1, RAID 5 etc.)
Knowledge on Clustering (geo cluster, multinodes passive/active)
Bios upgrades and firmware upgrades.
Knowledge on server management tools
Log monitoring/maintenance
Skills Required
8-12 years of Experience in Linux/Unix System Administration
The candidate should have worked in a SLA driven environment.
Ability to work in a flexible, team-oriented and constantly changing environment
