About the Job

We are looking for a Transport Procurement Manager to drive carrier performance, ensure compliance, and strengthen transportation partnerships.

This role offers the opportunity to analyze service metrics, resolve operational issues, support strategic procurement projects, and identify continuous improvement opportunities within a dynamic logistics and supply chain environment.

Working Location: Klang, Selangor

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitor carrier compliance with EDI requirements and routing guide procedures.
• Prepare and analyze carrier scorecards and service performance metrics, including tender acceptance, on-time delivery (OTD), dwell time, and claims.
• Manage carrier escalations, resolve service issues, and implement corrective actions to improve performance.
• Maintain accurate carrier master data, including shipping lanes and service attributes.
• Support customer RFP exercises and procurement projects through rate analysis, data extraction, and pricing presentations.
• Provide market insights and network analysis to support account teams and drive continuous process improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement, transportation, logistics, carrier management, or supply chain.
• Experience in carrier monitoring and compliance processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret KPIs and performance metrics.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in data analysis and visualization.
• Strong communication, negotiation, relationship management, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and pricing strategies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Willing to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally.
