Responsibilities
Name of Authority: Hong Wen School
Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2027
Option to extend: From 1 Jan 2028 to 31 Dec 2028
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
The Personnel shall have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
(i) Prior experience working in a Science laboratory environment, preferably in a primary school setting.
(ii) Basic digital literacy, including the ability to use a computer for administrative tasks such as maintaining records, updating stock books, and communicating with teachers via email and mobile messaging applications.
Job Scopes:
Main duties to include but not limited to:
(i) Maintain a safe, clean and tidy laboratory environment at all times, ensuring all apparatus, equipment, materials and specimens are in good working condition and ready for use.
(ii) Promptly report faulty machines and equipment to the relevant supervisor and display an "Out of Order" sign on affected items until rectified.
(iii) Ensure proper disposal of broken glassware and other breakages in accordance with prevailing safety procedures and regulations.
(iv) Conduct regular inspection of Bunsen burners and high-risk items (e.g. data loggers and microscopes) to ensure they are in good working condition and secure them under lock and key after use.
(v) Maintain an up-to-date stock book and breakage record and highlight items requiring replacement to the relevant supervisor in a timely manner.
(vi) Check and replenish first aid supplies at regular intervals to ensure adequate stock levels are always maintained.
(vii) Assist Science teachers in the preparation for the conduct of lessons and post-lesson clearing of laboratory equipment/apparatus as and when required.
(viii) Perform any other duties as assigned by the Science Head of Department (HOD).

Contract Period: From 1 Jan 2027 to 31 Dec 2027

Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 8:00am–1:30pm for 2 days and 8:00am–2:30pm for 1 day.
- 16 hours per week, comprising two 5-hour days and one 6-hour day, inclusive of a 30-minute break per day.
- Service is not required on Saturdays, Sundays, gazetted public holidays and School Holidays (including March, June and September breaks) / Events / Activities
