Full Time General Manager - Banquet Hall Jobs, in Ukay Banquet Selangor - Maukerja

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee overall banquet hall operations, business performance and service standards.
• Develop sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase venue bookings.
• Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with corporate clients, wedding planners and event organisers.
• Handle customer enquiries, conduct venue tours, prepare quotations and close sales.
• Plan, coordinate and oversee weddings, corporate events and other banquet functions.
• Lead and manage sales, banquet and service teams, including manpower planning and staff training.
• Coordinate with customers and internal departments to ensure smooth event execution.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, resolve complaints and ensure compliance with company SOPs and safety standards.
• Manage operating costs, inventory and resources to maximise profitability.
• Prepare sales and operational reports and implement business improvement strategies.
• Perform any ad-hoc task assigned by direct superior and Management.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Sales & Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in banquet, hospitality, event management or F&B operations, with sales and leadership experience.
• Strong sales, negotiation, leadership and communication skills.
• Good business acumen, customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to manage teams, achieve sales targets and work independently under pressure.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends, public holidays and extended hours according to event schedules.

Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 2:30 PM and 5:30 PM – 10:30 PM (6 working days), subject to event requirements.
