Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Craftsperson (Technician) to join our Stage business unit. You will be responsible for the precise assembly, adjustment, and calibration of complex mechanical and electronic components, including high-precision stages and motion systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically adept, and capable of working with extreme precision.

Key Responsibilities:

Component Assembly:

• Assemble high-precision electromechanical products according to technical drawings and SOPs.
• Use specialized tools, including microscopes and precision measuring equipment.
• Ensure correct alignment and micro-level fitting of all components.
• Prepare and pack completed assemblies for delivery.

Technical Interpretation:

• Accurately read and interpret complex engineering drawings and assembly instructions.
• Follow and help improve work instructions and SOPs.

Testing and Calibration:

• Conduct rigorous functional testing of completed assemblies.
• Perform fine-tuning and calibration to ensure optimal system performance.
• Use diagnostic tools and software for advanced testing.

Safety and Compliance:

• Follow all safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Comply with ISO and internal quality standards.
• Report and mitigate safety hazards as needed.

Skill Development:

• Continuously develop skills in precision assembly.
• Attend training and apply new knowledge to enhance performance and productivity.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Support the supervisor in meeting production targets and operational goals.
• Assist with ad-hoc tasks to support the team and company growth.

Qualifications:

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent with technical training.
• Preferred: Associate degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 1–3 years experience in precision assembly in a manufacturing/electronics environment (preferred).
• Proficient in using hand tools, precision instruments, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret complex schematics and technical documents.
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Effective problem-solving and communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit or stand for long periods.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
• Able to lift and move components up to 50 lbs.
