Technical Support Executive – Automotive

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Technical Support Executive to provide technical assistance, troubleshoot complex issues, and support internal teams and outlets in resolving operational and automotive-related problems.

In this role, you will work closely with the Primary Technical Support team and Level 2 (L2) engineers to investigate technical issues, coordinate solutions, and improve service quality. The ideal candidate has good automotive knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with different stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow established technical support processes and procedures to ensure consistent service delivery.
• Investigate and resolve cases requiring in-depth troubleshooting and technical assistance.
• Handle incoming and outgoing calls from internal and external stakeholders to address technical concerns.
• Work closely with the Primary Technical Support team and L2 engineers to provide timely and effective solutions to outlets.
• Identify the root causes of technical and quality-related issues and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to resolve issues and improve customer service levels.
• Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with other technical support team members.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports to the Technical Support Assistant Manager (TSA Manager).
• Conduct site visits when required to investigate issues and provide on-site technical support.
• Perform additional duties related to technical support as assigned by management.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in technical support processes and service quality.

Requirements

• Good knowledge of automotive systems, repair, and servicing procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues quickly.
• Effective analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Good reading, computer, and numerical skills.
• Ability to learn new technologies, technical procedures, and service specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or other relevant system-based tools is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively with different teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong sense of responsibility, adaptability, and commitment to providing effective technical solutions.
