Job Description

• Drive sourcing strategies from initial project proposal through vendor selection, commercial negotiation, contracting and final delivery.
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation/automation engineers to evaluate technical proposals and compare vendor bids.
• Identify, qualify, and manage strategic suppliers, system integrators, and sub-contractors specialized in automation and control systems.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, warranties, and back-to-back commercial protections to safeguard project profit margins.
• Monitor supplier manufacturing milestones, track equipment lead times and mitigate supply chain or trade compliance risks.
• Maintain purchase orders, issue RFPs/RFQs and track data via enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., SAP) and e-sourcing platforms.

Job Requirements

• At least Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Industrial Engineering or Business/Supply Chain Management.
• 3 - 4 years project procurement, technical sourcing or supply chain experience within industrial manufacturing, robotics or automation integration.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with PLCs, SCADA systems, control instrumentation and industrial cybersecurity requirements linked to digital solutions
• Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and e-procurement or e-auction tools.
• Soft Skills: Strong contract negotiation, cross-functional stakeholder management, analytical mindset and risk mitigation skills.
